auto_stories Our Story
ಕಾವೇರಮ್ಮ ಗೆಳೆಯರ ಬಳಗ (KGB) began in 2011, when a group of school friends from ಆರ್.ಎಚ್.ಬಿ. ಕಾಲೋನಿ and Garudacharpalya decided their neighbourhood deserved a festival celebration as warm as the friendships they'd grown up with. It started small — a handful of friends pooling pocket money for a modest Ganesha idol on a street corner.
Year after year, that small effort grew into something the whole area looked forward to. What began as one idol and a few hundred rupees is today a full community institution, organizing three major programs every year — Ganesh Chaturthi, the Pallaki (palanquin) procession, and the Annamma Devi festival — each one bringing families, shopkeepers, students and elders from across ಆರ್.ಎಚ್.ಬಿ. ಕಾಲೋನಿ and Garudacharpalya together.
KGB has kept building — not just bigger celebrations, but a stronger network across the area, one street, one household, one festival at a time. The goal has never changed since day one: make ಆರ್.ಎಚ್.ಬಿ. ಕಾಲೋನಿ a place where every festival feels like a reason for the whole neighbourhood to come together.
None of this would have been possible without the people of ಆರ್.ಎಚ್.ಬಿ. ಕಾಲೋನಿ and Garudacharpalya, who have stood behind KGB since the very beginning — with open homes, open hearts, and open support, year after year. Thank you for trusting us with your festivals.

A festival honouring Annamma Devi, the guardian mother of our locality, celebrated with the same devotion every year.

ಒಂದೇ ಬೀದಿ, ಒಂದೇ ಮನೆ, ಒಂದೇ ಹೃದಯ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಒಲವೆ, ಗಣಪನ ಬರುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಅಲೆ, ಆರ್ಹೆಚ್ಬಿ ಕಾಲನಿಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಚಿಲುಮೆ. ಗೆಳೆಯರ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಿಸಿ ಬಳಗ ಕಟ್ಟಿದೆವು, ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರದ ಹನ್ನೊಂದರಲಿ ಬೆಳಕು ಹಚ್ಚಿದೆವು, ಗಣೇಶ, ಪಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿ, ಅನ್ನಮ್ಮ ತಾಯಿಯ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ, ಪ್ರತಿ ವರುಷ ಬೆಳೆಯುತಿದೆ ಈ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಸಂಬಂಧ. ಊರ ಜನರ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಬಲವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಭಕ್ತಿ, ಕಾವೇರಮ್ಮ ಗೆಳೆಯರ ಬಳಗ ಸದಾ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಹಬ್ಬ ಹರಿದಿನಗಳಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗೋಣ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ.
